Our balcony view of the Happy Adventure harbour, Newman Sound and Swale Island (part of Terra Nova) was gorgeous -- especially at sunrise and sunset. It was an unforgettable holiday for my husband, his parents, and myself.

You won’t be disappointed with any menu selection but my favourite is the fish and chips which is the best by far I have ever eaten. They do have non-seafood dishes available including moose burgers

My husband had Moose steak and mussels that was melt in your mouth and the salad dressing is a chef secret but it is to die for. The desserts are all local ingredients and homemade. It is definitely a place to eat if you can.

This little place was an unexpected pleasure! Like someone else mentioned, the town is tucked away on the Eastport peninsula. The Inn itself is small, but our room was quite lovely and spacious, with a great view of the water. Can't imagine that there would have been anything else we would have needed. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast (breakfast is included with the room). Dinner was great! Very generous portions. My husband had the seafood platter, and I had cod. During dinner we asked what we should see in the morning before starting our drive - got some great recommendations. We went to a couple of nearby towns, did a little 3K hike and marvelled over the lovely beach with absolutely nobody on it. Not even for a walk. After the exploring we went for breakfast, which was exactly what we'd asked for (you make your requests the night before so that they are sure to have all ingredients). We could have easily stayed longer, but schedule didn't allow. We were made to feel very welcome, and our feedback was actively encouraged by the innkeepers.

James who manages the Inn is eager to please. He also is very skilled in providing directions to the local beaches and other scenic destinations. Our room overlooked the harbor which provided gorgeous sunsets gorgeous. Our room seemed to have a newly outfitted bathroom with an enormous tub and spacious shower. The Inn is an unexpected oasis. My only complaint was that the menu included a marine mammal. I was highly put off by this and probably should have said something and now I have as I've included this in the review.
