Happy Adventure Inn features five spacious rooms with views overlooking Powell’s Cove, one of the three coves that make up Happy Adventure.
While the sun is up, the balcony invites guests to sit outside and absorb the beauty of the area. And when Newfoundland’s infamous winds are blowing the room’s large windows allow guests to stay cozy inside while watching the Atlantic surge.
Lining the walls of the Inn are paintings by Brenda, one of the owners of the Happy Adventure Inn. Her amazing oils paintings offer renditions of local spectacles as well as scenes from around the world.
Chucky’s restaurant is open for supper service to Inn guests 7 days a week, assuring a light snack or a delicious feast is only a few steps away.
Breakfast for two is included with any stay at the Inn, and always prepared to order.
The guest rooms at Happy Adventure Inn have names that reflect the local area. They are either named after the coves of Happy Adventure itself, or after places where local families have long resided. The four rooms in the upstairs portion of the Inn each have their own balcony over looking the harbour and Newman sound. Our corner suites are equipped with two-person soaker-tubs, and all five rooms have large walk-in showers.
