From the moment we arrived til the moment we left they really went above and beyond in service and hospitality. It wasn't even required. Great experience and thank you for the wonderful memories. I highly recommend anyone wanting to experience Newfoundland to surely stop into this quaint B&B, even if only for a meal. The seafood is the freshest.

Great setting overlooking Happy Adventure harbor. Outstanding food and service. Fish and chips maybe the best ever. The inn would be a great place to stay, especially on the food plan. Owner Brenda Matchim, along with Chuck Matchim, is an excellent artist, her paintings decorating the inn and restaurant.

Excellent service and food.
Celebrating with some of our wedding guests. The end of our honeymoon in Newfoundland, we could not have picked a better place to celebrate. A special thank you to the dining & kitchen staff for making this evening special.

Staying in Eastport, our family of three made the five-minute drive to Chucky's for what can only be described as a tremendous meal! Perfect beer pairings for all of the menu options, my wife had a Quidi Vidi Bakeapple sour (I opted for a cherry beer from the same Newfoundland brewery) to accompany her lobster feast while my son had a pop with a terrific burger. Shortly after we ordered, one of the servers ran down the few flights of stairs to the docks and then remerged grinning from ear-to-ear with our unbelievably fresh lobsters in a bucket! While on the topic of staff, they strike the perfect balance in attentiveness (present but not pestering) and are knowledgeable and friendly. The ambiance was somewhat casual but would certainly suit a more formal evening of dining as well. The price is a little steep but, considering the quality and portion size of their servings, it is quite understandable. Take it from this gob-smacked prairie boy, if you're in this area, this is a GREAT bet for supper.

The best fish and chips in North America. A true hidden gem!!!! Love the scenery, you are overlooking the ocean and it is so private. Definitely worth the drive if you are vacationing in the area!
